Resident Evil Requiem's Viral In-Game Website Owner Will Give It Back For Free, Only If Capcom Reaches Out

Resident Evil Requiem is truly the gift that keeps on giving. Just when you think fans have discovered everything there is, then someone turns around and finds something else that will blow your mind. Case in point: the FBI sending Grace to Wrenwood alone wasn't some oversight, it was all part of the plan all along.

In lighter fare, someone discovered that BSAA's in-game computer was playing host to a website called NEWDAWN-capcom.com. At the time, it seemed like a cool Easter Egg and perhaps a hint at a future Capcom game in development, as if there weren't enough hints already inside Requiem.

Unfortunately, the website didn't lead anywhere, making it simply in-game fodder. However, that opened the lane for someone to go and claim the site, which they did.

Players have finally gotten to the bottom of Resident Evil Requiem's Final Puzzle.

Now, they're the owners of NEWDAWN-capcom.com, and the story is absolutely hilarious.

As first spotted by IGN, Gabe Follower is now the proud owner of NEWDAWN-capcom.com. The very popular social media figure dedicated to following Valve's Gabe Newell has turned the site into a Valve-themed site for his contact info and social links....
