It's a big day for Final Fantasy 14 fans, and that's because we just got the big Live Letter for Patch 7.5, one of the last few before we start getting the juicy information about the next expansion from all those Fan Fests. Just like in previous Live Letters, we found out loads of crucial details such as the name of Patch 7.5, the release window, and all the features to come. Here's everything that was shown off.
This article will be updated alongside the live letter, and will reflect new announcements when they're made.
First off, we got the patch's title and when it will be released. Rather ominously, the patch will be called Trail to the Heavens, and will be released on April 28 next month. Interestingly, this won't be the last MSQ update before the next expansion though, as it was revealed the MSQ will be split into two, with the rest coming in Early September in Patch 7.56. Apparently, there's a big reason for the split, but Yoshi-P isn't dishing out the details right now.
We then got a bunch of screenshots as per usual, one of which shows Urianger interacting with the Loporrits once...
