Square Enix and Naoki Yoshida have announced the release date for Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.5, as well as what you can expect from what will be the Dawntrail expansion's final major update.
As revealed in a Letter from the Producer presentation (as well as on social media), Patch 7.5's first part will launch on April 28th, and it'll be followed by a second part, which will presumably be called Patch 7.55, sometime in September. That's quite the wait.
Just like previous Final Fantasy XIV patches, Patch 7.5 will bring new main scenario quests with it, with those quests presumably wrapping up the post-Dawntrail storyline that began all the way back in November 2024, as well as setting up the story for whatever expansion comes next.
Of course, the new quests will involve a brand new dungeon to tackle, as well as a trial encounter in the form of Enuo, who makes his return from the Game Boy Advance re-release of Final Fantasy V, in which he served as an optional superboss.
