Pokopia Suggests An NPC From FireRed And LeafGreen's S.S. Anne Suffered A Terrible Fate

Pokemon Pokopia has been going viral for all the right reasons. And one bad reason. (It's not the game's fault the TCG Ditto cards have skyrocketed in price.) But one of the best things about the game is its deliciously eclectic dialogue. Pokemon has seldom been funnier... or, occasionally, more troubling.

You see, in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen Versions—which recently returned via Nintendo Switch—there's a fellow aboard the passenger cruise ship named Dylan. He's designated "Sailor Dylan," because in the Pokemon universe, whether you're a Champion or a Janitor, your title goes before your name. He's technically been around since Red, Blue, and Yellow; only, enemy trainers didn't have names back then, so we were none the wiser.

Pokopia has brought Dylan's legacy forward... uh, grimly.

@Tales_of_Taylor unearthed Sailor Dylan's journal entry while sleuthing through the S.S. Anne in Pokopia's post-apocalyptic Kanto. And it's troubling.

Now, it stands to reason, of course, that Sailor Dylan's diary cuts off where it does because he, as one comment notes, presumably "frew up." Well, I have concerns as to why anybody would end their own note with "—", but I digress. What the game-makers are probably gunning for here is...
