The Last of Us fans are largely divided over the future of the franchise, with many players hopeful for The Last of Us 3 and others feeling a third installment is completely unnecessary. While Naughty Dog have their hands full with the upcoming new franchise, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, players are keeping their fingers crossed for an official update.
However, there's no shortage of new The Last of Us content out there, and fans will be getting a horrifying new release this summer featuring an iconic fan-favorite infected (via Dark Horse Direct).
The Last of Us is getting an official new release later this year from Naughty Dog and Dark Horse Direct, with "The Last of Us: Bloater Statue" available for pre-order now. The roughly 15-inch tall resin statue features the iconic Bloater enemy running on a hardwood floor, modeled at the same scale as Naughty Dog's previous signature statues.
The statue is listed for roughly $220 USD (not including shipping), and is considered a premium collector's item as, "much like its in-game counterpart, The Last of Us: Bloater Statue is rare, limited to an edition size of only 1,000 statues." Seeing as pre-orders are already live...
