PlayStation Just Uploaded Footage Of Crimson Desert Running On PS5, So We Can All Relax Now

Pearl Abyss has shown a lot of its hotly anticipated upcoming RPG, Crimson Desert. The most recent trailer alone revealed that, alongside dragons and mech suits, the game's protagonist would have access to a jetpack.

But while footage has been abundant, concerns have been prevalent around the lack of console footage. The game's public relations manager expressed he was "sick of having to repeat" himself, as fans lamented the absence of specs and footage. Both were eventually revealed, but the footage was in a closed environment.

The floodgates finally seem to be opening now, though, as the Japanese PlayStation YouTube channel just uploaded 15 minutes of gameplay footage, and reports from Korean streamers who had a chance to play the console version have suggested they were "blown away."

PlayStation's Crimson Desert gameplay video covers areas not too dissimilar to those I played in a recent six-hour preview of the game. The show's host, Taiga Kishi, alongside Pearl Abyss project manager, Kim Minyoung, explored one of Crimson Desert's sky islands, solved its puzzles, dueled a knight, and then was unleashed on a later segment of the game where they could fly a dragon.
