Solasta 2 got a lot of attention in the run-up to early access. Much of this is thanks to how it is perfectly poised to fill the Baldur's Gate 3-shaped hole in our lives, as it's another turn-based Dungeons & Dragons RPG.
Now, it's been available to play for a little under a week, and it sounds like it's living up to all of the Baldur's Gate 3 comparisons. Early user reviews on Steam are mostly positive, with praise for the combat, companions, and the visuals. While there are some concerns being raised, many see this as a great foundation for the full game.
"Does it have its issues? Yes, and so did BG3 when it released in early access," reads one of the positive reviews for Solasta 2's early access.
