Baldur's Gate 3 Players Can Finally Choose What Camp They Want Instead Of Getting Shoved Into The Closest One

In Baldur's Gate 3, your camp changes depending on a few conditions. Typically, the camp will be based on the area you've decided to rest in, so you have a different one for the Underdark than the Wilderness, for instance. But you can also get a unique camp if you're in a cave in the same region, just to keep everything consistent.

However, we're all going to have our personal favourites, and we don't want to have to go looking for them all the time. That's not even getting into the missed photo mode opportunities if you want a specific background, but don't want to backtrack.

Well, fret not, because we finally have the ability to choose which camp we want to use in each act. The Choose Your Camp mod is available through both Nexus Mods and mod.io, letting you select from any of the camps available to you in the act you're in. That means being able to get to camps that are usually only unlocked later in the act from the very start, getting the most of it before you have to move on.
