Another Xbox Exclusive Domino Has Fallen As Starfield's PS5 Port Gets An Official Reveal

Xbox has gradually been putting its previously exclusive games on other platforms. Gears of War and Forza Horizon have already made the leap, and there will even be a Halo game on PS5 before the end of the year. One of the few true Xbox exclusives left standing is Starfield, and now we officially know that Bethesda's space epic won't be a console exclusive for much longer either.

Following months of rumors claiming Starfield will eventually be released on PS5, we now have official word that it's coming to PlayStation, along with when it will arrive on Xbox's rival platform. Starfield's PS5 port will be released on April 7, 2026, with both a standard and premium edition for PS5 owners to choose from. That's the same day as its Terran Armada DLC will be released on all platforms.

Pre-orders for both of those editions are open right now on the PlayStation Store. The premium edition comes with Starfield's soundtrack, a digital artbook, but best of all, both its Shattered Space and Terran Armada DLCs.
