Starfield PS5 Release Date Confirmed for April Alongside Major Update and New DLC | TechRaptor

Bethesda has revealed the PS5 release date for spacefaring RPG Starfield, and you can get ready to experience the studio's latest open-world adventure next month.

As revealed in an official Bethesda blog post, Starfield will be coming to PS5 on April 7th, and it'll arrive alongside major free update Free Lanes and a brand new story DLC by the name of Terran Armada.

Of course, the PlayStation 5 version of Starfield will also launch with all of the updates that have been released for the game so far, so if you've only played the launch version on other platforms, this might be a good way to get started.

The reveal of this release date lines up with a leak from earlier this month. Contrary to Todd Howard's comments this year, the Free Lanes update arguably does represent a sort of Starfield 2.0, although it's definitely not transformative in terms of what kind of game you're getting.
