NetEase has announced the release date for Season 7 of the popular hero shooter Marvel Rivals, and it's bringing two iconic new heroes with it later this week.
As revealed in a brand new trailer, Season 7, which (as you've probably already guessed) follows on from the game's sixth season, and it'll bring Black Cat and White Fox into the fold as playable characters. The season kicks off on March 20th.
NetEase has also revealed that White Fox will be a Strategist, joining a roster that also includes the likes of Gambit and Ultron. We don't yet know what role Black Cat will play, but if I had to guess, I'd say she's going to be a Duelist (damage-dealer).
The story in Season 7 will revolve around forces from 2099 invading modern New York, leading mayor Wilson Fisk (better known as the Kingpin) to take drastic measures to resist the changes coming to his city.
Presumably, since it's been revealed which role White Fox will take, she'll be the first hero released as part of Season 7, with Black Cat following on in the second half of the season's cycle.
