Psychedelic Shooter Tamashika Hits PC and Consoles Next Month | TechRaptor

EDGLRD, the studio created by filmmaker Harmony Korine, has announced the release date for its debut game, psychedelic shooter Tamashika.

Per a press release, Tamashika will be launching on PC and consoles on April 10th, and EDGLRD, along with developer quicktequila, released a brand new trailer providing a fresh glimpse into the game's multi-colored world as well.

Tamashika has been in the works for several years at this point; in a recent blog post, one of the game's developers revealed that the game has been in development for three years "across seven countries in total", so it's been a real labor of love for those working on it.

EDGLRD and quicktequila describe Tamashika as a "psychedelic trance of shifting corridors" in which you'll need to use your semi-automatic pistol and tanto blade to navigate ever-changing mazes.

Unlike many other roguelikes of its kind, Tamashika doesn't allow you to change loadouts or try new builds; you've got one set of weapons, and thus "no excuses", as the two studios say.
