Arrowhead and Sony have announced the first official Helldivers 2 roadmap, and it's promising lots of new stuff for the shooter over the next few months, starting from this Friday.
In a post on Steam, Arrowhead reveals that the first major update on the roadmap, which will augment February's Machinery of Oppression drop, will land on March 20th (that's this coming Friday at time of writing).
The update, which is designated Update 6.1.0, will introduce new types of Illuminate enemies, as well as fleets that will field these enemies for you to do battle with. You can also look forward to new weather conditions caused by the update's Exostorm system, as well as a new mission type and lots of balancing changes.
The next update that will follow this is the aptly-named Update 6.2, which will arrive sometime in April. It'll bring new biomes and new galactic war campaigns for you to experience those biomes, plus a new enemy variant and more.
