Back in 2024, I played an awful lot of TCG Card Shop Simulator. My time clocked in at 120 hours of stacking shelves, serving customers, and ripping packs of the in-game Tetramon cards. As a Pokemon TCG fan, I was hooked, and it ranked among my top 10 favorite games of that year.

There was something so cathartic about repeating the same, mundane tasks over and over again that I had to force myself off the game. But it looks like I may be about to be sucked back into the sim world.

Yesterday, Retro Rewind - Video Store Simulator hit Steam, and it looks like the exact type of game that is going to cost me hours of my precious life.
