1348: Ex Voto is a small game that made huge waves just before its launch. With the trailer hinting at a sapphic love story, and a price tag that's pretty damn reasonable in today's market, there were a lot of eyes on Ex Voto - whether that be from would-be fans or dedicated bigots.
Unfortunately for those rooting for it, Ex Voto launched to mixed critical reviews. Our own Jade King gave it a 2.5/5, enjoying the premise but finding the overall narrative weak, and the combat too repetitive. Then, when many of us dived in with adjusted expectations, we made another discovery: the game is pretty damn buggy.
That last point has at least been addressed today, with more updates going live across PC and PlayStation 5. Developer Sedleo says that these updates will fix "critical bugs" - hopefully meaning we won't see our save files deleted if we view the credits anymore.
