Game Of Thrones Is Coming To Fortnite, But Why The Heck Is The Night King Here Instead Of Arya Stark

I am simultaneously entirely unsurprised and more than a bit baffled. Game of Thrones is coming to Fortnite; a reasonably persistent giant of the television world marching into an unstoppable giant of the gaming world makes perfect sense. Fortnite is built on collabs; it's high time that Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen got in there.

But the official announcement hypes up the most iconic characters. Well, that's certainly two of them. But who else applies? If you're only doing three, then the choice is tough. Tyrion Lannister? Yeah, maybe. Arya Stark? Oh, certainly. Cersei or Jaime? A little shocking by comparison, but definitely up there. But... the Night King? Naw, fam. Someone up top just really wanted that terrific character design to show up in Fortnite's poppy, saturated, color scheme. Which is fair, but... what...?

The aforementioned raven actually delivered the message a bit late, because leaker @FireMonkey cawed about it earlier this morning. The "Ice and Fire" bundle will include three outfits, two emotes, a glider, three pickaxes, and three backblings. Listen, I don't know what a backbling is. That alone should tell you that I'm not necessarily the most qualified staff writer here to have delivered this particular...
