Marvel Rivals Has Removed Captain America's Animation Cancel Tech, And Cap Mains Aren't Taking It Well

Marvel Rivals is constantly changing and adapting depending on what is strong and weak during any given season. A lot of the changes that are made don't tend to go down particularly well with fans, and the game has a particular tendency to release characters in an overpowered state while leaving others practically unplayable in a competitive setting. It's gotten so bad that some have begun to call for the game's lead combat designer, Zhiyong, to be removed from his position.

With the approach of Season 7 on the horizon, bringing characters like Black Cat and White Fox into the fold, you have yet another renewed sense of optimism that some much-needed changes are on the way. Unfortunately, Captain America mains have been dealt a killing blow before the season has even begun, as a pre-season hotfix has pretty brutally diminished his offensive capabilities.
