Cyberpunk 2077 Sold More Copies On Switch 2 Than Xbox Last Year, But Didn't Come Close To Beating PlayStation

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of those games that sells well every year. Whether it's fans picking it up on another platform to make the most of the cross-save feature, or finally diving in for the first time after its rough launch, it keeps bringing in the dough for CD Projekt Red.

So, it was no surprise to see CDPR put the work in to get it running on Nintendo Switch 2, and even in time for its launch. Now, given Switch limitations, most Cyberpunk sales still came from PC and PlayStation. However, it did manage to beat another platform: Xbox.

As per CDPR's latest financial report, Switch 2 made up ten percent of Cyberpunk 2077's sales last year, whereas Xbox only accounted for nine percent. That might not sound too bad in isolation, but when you see that PlayStation and PC made up 29 percent and 51 percent respectively, a clear pattern emerges. In fact, that pattern has been the case for some time, as Xbox has been the least popular platform to buy Cyberpunk 2077 on every year except the launch year, where it beat PlayStation by two percent.
