Digimon Story: Time Stranger Expansion Coming in 2027, New Mobile Game Revealed | TechRaptor

Bandai Namco has revealed that a Digimon Story: Time Stranger expansion DLC pack is in development for next year, and the studio has also announced a brand new mobile Digimon game.

Confirming the news in a post on X, Bandai Namco says the expansion is officially in development and that it's slated for 2027. No other information was revealed, so we don't know where the expansion will take us or what it will revolve around.

We can, however, guess that this expansion will be on a much larger scale than the packs of DLC that have already been released for Digimon Story: Time Stranger. Whether we'll get something on the level of Hacker's Memory remains to be seen, but it should be pretty substantial, at least.

It's not just the Time Stranger expansion, either. Bandai Namco also revealed a brand new Digimon mobile game, and this one's separate from the trading card game adaptation Digimon Alysion, too.

Digimon Up is described by Bandai Namco as "a Digimon journey that moves with your life", and it comes with "brand new pixel art" that renders some of your favorite Digimon as adorable little retro sprites.
