Resident Evil: Code Veronica is a stone-cold classic. Released in 2000 for the Dreamcast (and later ported to other systems), it follows Claire Redfield after the events of Resident Evil 2. Given that Claire is a fan-favorite character, it's considered one of the most memorable entries in the franchise, despite not being a "numbered" mainline entry.

Based on new information from famed Resident Evil leaker Dusk Golem on X, the Code Veronica remake could end up being the best of the bunch.

According to Dusk Golem, there will be substantial changes to Resident Evil: Code Veronica when it eventually launches. It's allegedly "just a bit expanded," with nothing cut, but some "heavily remixed" sections. Interestingly, this will be the first time young Chris has been seen in the new Resident Evil expanded-remake universe in earnest (which started with the RE2 remake), and, as a result, his role has been expanded in Code Veronica.
