Shiro Games has announced a new Wartales DLC pack for next month, and it'll see you heading to the Edoran capital of Isandrin in order to deal with brewing civil unrest caused by the ascension of a new leader.
As revealed in a new Steam blog post, Fires in the Capital will be launching sometime in April, although Shiro stops short of revealing a full release date for the DLC. That info will likely be coming in the next week or two.
In Fires in the Capital, you've been hired to restore order in Isandrin, which has been riven by the bold policies of General Maxime, a scholar who was "meant to serve as a puppet of the Legion" but who has instead put controversial reforms into effect.
Throughout the course of Fires in the Capital, Shiro says you'll be feeling the ways in which civil unrest has come to shape Isandrin; you'll notice prices going up, contracts disappearing, and riots erupting throughout the DLC's world.
Activities you'll be taking part in include hunting brigands down, tearing hostile propaganda from the city's walls, and funding charitable works. Of course, you could always choose to let the unrest foment and see...
