Call of Duty veteran Jason Blundell, who hit headlines last week thanks to Sony's closure of his previous studio Dark Outlaw Games, has returned with another new development outfit.
As spotted by the folks at KitGuru, Blundell revealed the existence of his new studio during a conversation with YouTuber and fellow ex-Dark Outlaw staffer JCbackfire. The company's name is Magic Fractal, and we don't know very much about it or what it's up to yet.
Presumably, Blundell will announce more in the coming months, but given that his last studio was closed down by Sony before its first project was even announced, any jitteriness on Blundell's part regarding making another big announcement is entirely understandable.
Blundell also revealed a logo during the conversation with JCbackfire, but it's a fairly innocuous affair, sporting just the company's name and some artfully-arranged retro-style square artwork.
During another stream with JCbackfire last week, Blundell confirmed that the game on which he and Dark Outlaw were working was not a live-service game, despite his extensive experience with the Call of Duty franchise.
As such, it's possible that Blundell, JCbackfire, and the other ex-Dark Outlaw staffers will shift all of the work...
