Pokémon Home Update Gives Players Free Legends: Z-A Alpha Starters

Pokémon Home is now compatible with Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which means that people who use the service will gain access to Alpha versions of the starter Pokémon.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A uses a drastically different battle system from other entries in the series, taking a more action approach, where movement and timing are important aspects of the design. This has led fans to wonder how some of the new Pokémon will work in the mainline games, as Pokémon Legends: Z-A added a ton of Mega Evolutions.

It's now possible to move Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Z-A, as Pokémon Home has finally been updated to account for the new games. According to Serebii, the new Pokémon Home update comes with a bonus for those trading from Kalos region.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A Now Has Home Compatibility

As of April 2, anyone who trades a Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Z-A into Pokémon Home will be able to claim Alpha Chikorita, Alpha Tepig, and Alpha Totadile via the game's Mystery Gift feature. Alpha Pokémon are larger than regular members of their species and have better starting stats.
