There's no denying that Crimson Desert is one popular title. After all, it became one of the rare video games to reset its Steam peak concurrent a week after launch, rocketing past 275,000 players, a number it wasn't particularly close to at release.
However, as far as PlayStation users in the United States are concerned, MLB The Show is infinitely more popular. Indeed, this year's iteration of Sony's longstanding baseball sim title, MLB The Show 26, out beat Crimson Desert on the U.S. PSN.
It's going to be a sad day when PlayStation officially retires the PSN branding.

Naturally, in the EU, Crimson Desert was No. 1 on the bestsellers chart, and as expected, MLB The Show was nowhere to be found. That said, EA Sports FC 26 is still holding strong over there, sitting at the No. 2 spot.
