Developer and publisher Pearl Abyss has revealed that its open-world action RPG sandbox Crimson Desert has passed yet another major sales milestone, so it looks like the game's path to domination is secure.

In a post on social media, Pearl Abyss confirms that Crimson Desert sales have now passed the four million mark, meaning it's managed to rack up another million sales since around this time last week. Of course, as usual, that's counting all platforms, as well as both physical and digital sales.

Crimson Desert's sales aren't showing any real signs of slowing; the game has reached this impressive sales milestone in less than two weeks, although it did manage to hit the first two million in less than a day.

In case you're unfamiliar with Crimson Desert, it's a large-scale open-world action RPG that also happens to contain about sixteen other genres; it's packed with minigames and interlocking systems, so it's fair to say Pearl Abyss' first single-player excursion is not lacking in ambition.
