Larian seems to have slowed down the pace at which it is vetting and adding content to the console version of Baldur's Gate 3. Last year, it wasn't uncommon for drops to occur weekly, often on Thursdays. This year, it seems to have dropped to twice a month, although there were three in January.
But while the pace may have slowed, the quality hasn't, and players playing the console version of Baldur's Gate 3 just got 21 new options to choose from, including a couple of great new classes, a werewolf version of Shadowheart, the option to choose their starting gear, and a cut conversation with Minthara.
The process of adding mods to Baldur's Gate 3 takes a bit of effort from Larian. It needs to go through the literally thousands available online, cherry-pick them, and port them to consoles. It's no wonder it's slowed down a little, then, given that it officially finished working on the game last April and is moving on to its newest title, Divinity.
