Developer and publisher ZA/UM has announced the Zero Parades: For Dead Spies release date, and the next RPG from the people who brought you Disco Elysium (well, kind of) is coming very soon.
As revealed in a new trailer courtesy of GameSpot, Zero Parades: For Dead Spies arrives on May 21st across Steam, the Epic Store, and GOG. No console release for the game has been announced yet, but since Disco Elysium made its way to consoles eventually, I wouldn't rule it out.
Zero Parades: For Dead Spies was originally announced as Project C4 back in March last year, at which point ZA/UM described the project as "genre-defining". It's an espionage RPG that casts you as a spy with a checkered past embarking on one final mission.
Bearing more than a passing resemblance to Disco Elysium (which makes sense given the publisher), Zero Parades: For Dead Spies will have you exploring an "unforgettable city" in order to figure out what your assignment requires of you, while also taking part in a "three-way struggle for cultural and ideological power".
In case you need a reminder, the original developers behind Disco Elysium are largely not present at ZA/UM...
