A Year Later And Pokemon Fans Are Still Waiting On Colosseum For Switch 2

It might be hard to believe, but exactly one year ago, Nintendo held its big blowout Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, where the console was shown off, along with some games, as well as the announcement that GameCube games would finally be playable via the Nintendo Classics program available to Nintendo Switch Online members.

There, a smattering of titles were teased, chief among them Pokemon Colosseum and its sequel, Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, two of the most beloved GameCube titles that are also two of its most expensive to purchase these days.

However, a year later, and Pokemon fans are still waiting for Colosseum to drop on Nintendo Classics. There's no word when it'll drop, but it wasn't until very recently that XD: Gale of Darkness did finally drop, so that tells you the kind of timeline we're dealing with.

Spin-offs are breaking records and capturing hearts, with games like Pokemon Pokopia and Monster Hunter Stories 3 showing they can stand tall with the biggest titles.

So when will it come? Your guess is as good as mine.
