Crimson Desert Patch Improves Movement Further, Adds Classic And Basic Sprint Options

Crimson Desert update 1.02.00 is live on PC as of April 4, continuing Pearl Abyss' efforts to improve the game's combat and movement, while also introducing several new quality-of-life features.

Headlining the patch notes are the new headgear visibility option and private storage capacity, which can be expanded up to 1,000 slots depending on the Greymane camp's expansion level. Pearl Abyss has also addressed those who prefer the old sprint system, implementing a new 'Movement Controls' option in the input settings that allows you to switch between the 'classic' and 'base' options.

Greymane camp has five stages, starting with 240 slots: +100, +100, +100, +100, and +360.

'Classic' is the GTA-like sprint mechanic in which you tap to run, whereas 'basic' encompasses the new version implemented in last week's update, in which you hold the sprint key to accelerate. You can find more detailed descriptions in the menu, should you need them.
