NetherRealm, the studio behind Mortal Kombat and Injustice, is cooking something, and they're soliciting QA Testers to further help shape whatever it is. That QA Tester could be you, provided you meet the qualification requirements, which include residing in or near Chicago.
As first spotted in the Mortal Kombat subreddit, NetherRealm, via a LinkedIn callout, is hiring some QA Testers for an upcoming AAA game. Unfortunately, the job description, as available on the Warner Bros. Discovery careers website, is pretty light on details as to what that could be.
"Knowledge of video games across multiple game consoles (Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony) or PC," is one of the listed requirements, which should come as no surprise given the hardware that past titles, including the more recent Mortal Kombat 1, are available on. Otherwise, it's a pretty standard job listing.

Still, that the in-development title is at the point of QA testing should be a good sign for those waiting for the next major title from NetherRealm. Even with its post-launch expansion and myriad DLC offerings, MK1 did release in 2023, so it's been a bit.
