Stunlock Studios has announced a new game set in the V Rising universe, and it'll be the developer's most ambitious project yet, apparently.
In a dev update appropriately titled "The Next Era", Stunlock describes the project as being "set in the beautiful, strange, and gothic world of V Rising", drawing on the studio's experience to explore "fresh ideas unbound by [its] previous limitations".
Stunlock says the game will feel "both familiar and strikingly new", and that it will allow you to "explore your darkest whims in a world of greater depth, danger, and mystery than ever before". The studio is, perhaps understandably, fairly reluctant to reveal more about the game at the moment, given how early on in development the project is.
Indeed, Stunlock itself says the project, whatever it turns out to be, is "very early in development", and that "things may grow quiet for a time" while the developer commits to working on the game.
Despite that, Stunlock says it will "emerge from the shadows now and then" to tell you how the project is progressing, so hopefully, we'll get to learn exactly what the studio is working on and how it relates to V Rising soon.
