Marvel Rivals' New Map Seemingly References Real-Life Anti-Trump Protests

Last Friday, the No Kings protests were held across the US once again. These protests are against the second administration of US President Donald Trump, or more specifically, against the rolling back of civil liberties and the rights of certain groups, particularly immigrants or those from immigrant families.

Now, just days later, a reference to these protests may have just been spotted in Marvel Rivals. In the new map, Lower Manhattan, there are a ton of references to the character Kingpin - including a poster that reads "No Kingpin", and incorporates a symbol remarkably close to the No Kings logo.

This was quickly spotted and shared around the Marvel Rivals community. True enough, at the 28-second mark on the Lower Manhattan reveal trailer, we get a close-up of the poster, and the resemblance is very clear.

While many think that this is a very fitting nod and are pleased that someone was brave enough to make the reference, some are also confused as to why NetEase did this, since it has hardly been a bastion of progressivism.
