Overwatch Fans Think Hero 51 Could Be The Girl From Soldier 76's Cinematic Ten Years Ago

Get ready to feel ancient: the Soldier 76 cinematic is almost ten years old. In that cinematic, we were introduced to a very broody, but nonetheless heroic, Jack Morrison. The short also featured the character Alejandra, and from then on, she became the centre of multiple theories about new heroes.

The major one came when Sombra was revealed. Many were convinced that Sombra and Alejandra were one and the same, but that never came to pass. Still, many waited for her to be added to the roster as the years went by, and now, some fans think that she's on the cusp of joining the fight - and has actually been revealed already.

A post outlining the theory that Hero 51, who was revealed yesterday, is actually Alejandra, is getting a lot of attention in r/Overwatch. And in fairness, the resemblance is there, more so than it was with the Sombra theory.
