Klei Entertainment has announced that it will reveal a new Don't Starve game on April 9 during the triple-i showcase.
This announcement can be found on the Don't Starve Together website after completing a puzzle (or just by clicking this link), in the form of an animated logo obscured by fog.
The puzzle was solved by interacting with the tuning fork in Wagstaff's lo-fi room and inputting a code to open a portal.
While some have speculated that Klei is teasing the upcoming mobile port, or the Tencent-developed Newhome, a developer confirmed on the 'Don't Starve (Unofficial)' Discord server that this is for an unannounced project made in-house.
"I want to clarify that this is a new game," Zarklord explained. "If you knew about it before that ARG website link, then it's not this game [...] I can also confirm it's not DST mobile. As was stated on the page, it's a new game."
Nobody has worked out what the logo is yet, and there's no metadata on the website hiding the answer. Fans haven't even come to a consensus on what the first letter might be.
