The upcoming remake of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo: Campaign Evolved, is inching closer and closer to its official launch as the Halo franchise itself nears its 25th anniversary in November.
Recently, Microsoft has officially begun Campaign Evolved's marketing via a collaboration with the soft drink Fanta, with rumors suggesting that the game may launch as soon as June or as late as August this summer.
To potentially support this release window, credible Halo series insider Rebs Gaming has recently discovered that the South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee has officially rated Campaign Evolved as 19+, the equivalent of PEGI's 18 rating or the ESRB's Mature 17+ rating.
This rating not only suggests that Campaign Evolved may be launching sooner than fans expected but also marks a notable return to Halo's roots, as Campaign Evolved is now expected to be the first M-rated Halo title since 2014.
The History Halo's Ratings
