Frostpunk 2 Breach of Trust DLC Heats Up in June | TechRaptor

11 bit studios has revealed a brand new Frostpunk 2 DLC pack, and this one will see you dealing with a city built near "a volcano destabilised by the reckless use of geothermal energy".

The city-builder received its first major DLC in the form of Fractured Utopias back in December, but now the second big expansion, Breach of Trust, is coming on June 23rd. It's set in the city of New Edinburgh, where "unrest rises and volcanic ash fills the sky".

The DLC is named for a new mechanic, the Vote of Trust, which will see citizens of New Edinburgh periodically voting on whether they think you're still fit to run the city or not. You'll have to unravel the story of New Edinburgh and its colony, Aurora, while also keeping the city's inhabitants happy with your methods.

New features promised by Breach of Trust include five new Communities and Factions, as well as new environmental hazards (which are naturally themed around the aforementioned volcano), new narrative events, and a brand new Independent Colony system to help you decide the fate of the Aurora colony.
