Leaker Claims Assassin's Creed 4 Remake Isn't "Far Away" From Release

A reliable leaker has claimed that Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced is going to be announced next week and that its release isn't "far away".

We've known about the Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag remake for quite some time now thanks to leakers and insiders, but Ubisoft finally confirmed that it's a real thing, and titled Resynced, last month with a post that said to "keep your spyglass on the horizon". With that in mind, it seemed like Ubisoft was hinting that the long-awaited remake wasn't far off from being officially shown off.

That being said, considering the turbulent state of Ubisoft over the past few months (RIP, Sands of Time remake), it's been fair to assume that Black Flag Resynced was still a ways off, especially considering it was originally planned to have launched by now as a digital-only release. It seems the delay wasn't that substantial, though, as a reliable leaker has claimed it's close to release.
