Pokemon Champions is finally here, and with it comes a bunch of changes to the established VGC formula, not all of them for the better. Many Pokemon have been shaken up and moves work differently now, while all the new Mega Evolutions that were added in Pokemon Legends: Z-A have now been made VGC compatible, complete with new abilities.
Of course, Pokemon abilities can be game-changing, so learning what Mega Evolutions have which abilities was crucial to any team-building exercises. While people could only speculate before launch, Pokemon Champions is now out, revealing all of these abilities and how they work, whether they be completely new or existing. Here's a handy list of every one so far:
We'll start off with the Starters, as Mega Meganium has Mega Sol, which allows it to use weather-based moves as if the weather was harsh sunlight.
A pretty simple one, Dragonize turns every Normal-type move into a Dragon-type move, with a power boost of 20 percent on top.
Mold Breaker allows the Pokemon to use its moves regardless of another Pokemon's ability, allowing moves like Earthquake to hit Pokemon with Levitate, for example.
Exactly what it says...
