PlayStation has revealed a limited edition golden DualSense themed after 007 First Light, and pre-orders for it will go live next week on April 17.
Although 007 First Light isn't a PlayStation exclusive, you'd be forgiven for thinking that it is. IO Interactive's take on James Bond had its first big gameplay showcase in a State of Play deep dive, and it's been heavily advertised as one of PlayStation's biggest games of 2026, despite also being on PC, Xbox, and, eventually, Nintendo Switch 2.
Even if there's no exclusivity here, PlayStation and IO Interactive clearly have some kind of marketing deal going on, which has been made clearer than ever now that a limited edition DualSense themed around the game has been revealed. And yes, of course the controller based on James Bond is golden.
The limited edition DualSense was revealed over on the PlayStation Blog and, beyond the obvious golden sheen referencing the golden gun from the movies, it also features the 007 logo and James Bond's signature gun on the touchpad, along with barrel detailing as a nod to the franchise's iconic intro.
