Elden Ring was meant to be one of the big third-party games that demonstrated what the Nintendo Switch 2 is capable of. Unfortunately, it wasn't ready to do that, and its release was delayed. Now we've got some solid evidence that the Tarnished Edition might finally be ready for public consumption.
Pre-orders for Elden Ring on Switch 2 still aren't available through Nintendo. The Tarnished Edition has its own page on the Nintendo website, but that page is still pretty barren and has no mention of a release date. Amazon, however, has decided to go ahead and let people pre-order copies of Elden Ring on Switch 2.
Elden Ring's delayed Switch 2 launch is also still slated to be here before the end of 2026.
The Amazon page went live on Wednesday evening, and even though there has been no update from Nintendo or FromSoftware, you can go ahead and secure a physical copy of the long-awaited port right now. You will need to part with $79.99 to do so, though, and if Amazon does have inside information on when exactly the Tarnished Edition will be released, it either isn't ready or isn't allowed to share it...
