Rhythm Heaven Groove Release Date Cued In for July | TechRaptor

Nintendo has announced the release date for upcoming rhythm game Rhythm Heaven Groove, with the latest entry in the long-running musical minigame series set to arrive on Switch in just a couple of months.

As announced via the Nintendo Today app (and subsequently on social media), Rhythm Heaven Groove will be launching on July 2nd. It's a Switch exclusive, and it doesn't look like the game will have a native Switch 2 version, although it'll work just fine on the newer console.

If you're not familiar with Rhythm Heaven Groove, it's the latest game in the Rhythm Heaven series, which, as the name suggests, primarily revolves around rhythm-based minigames. As the debut trailer for the game says, there's no "big, epic story" here, just "lots of funny little rhythm games".

Since there's no story in this series, you won't find the continuation of some decades-long narrative in Rhythm Heaven Groove. Rather, what you'll find is some more fun ways to express your sense of rhythm, whether that be by hitting cans in a factory, chopping up vegetables, or jumping through hoops.
