Developer and publisher Shiro Games has announced the Early Access release date for ambitious space sandbox sim SpaceCraft, and if you've got room for another one of these games in your life, you'll want to mark your calendar for May.
As revealed during today's Triple-I Initiative indie showcase, Shiro will be releasing SpaceCraft into Early Access on May 20th, which gives you just under six weeks to prepare yourself for its arrival. Hopefully, you'll be done with No Man's Sky's Xeno Arena update by then.
In SpaceCraft, Shiro is promising a "vast, seamless universe spanning multiple star systems" in which you can "freely transition from deep space travel to planetary exploration". You can use those systems to build yourself an intergalactic production empire that will turn you into a "major industrial force".
Although what you've heard so far might make SpaceCraft sound like the aforementioned other space sandbox game, this one marks itself out by providing the opportunity for players to create and run corporations in order to collaborate with others and "coordinate large-scale operations".
