Data Miners Uncover Pokemon Champions' Next Battle Pass

Pokemon Champions has only been out for a handful of days (and goodness it has garnered something of a mixed reception thus far) but ever-industrious data miners have already isolated what appears to be its second batch of battle pass content.

It's coming in mid-May, and unless plans shift to a sizable degree, we can safely say we know what it'll entail. Or, well, as close to "safely" as we're ever willing to say; but this does appear to be genuine.

Pokemon Champions' M-1 Ranked Season began at launch and continues through May 13. At that point, M-2 will kick in, and with it, a brand-new batch of reasons to check into the battle pass. Premium pass subscribers will likely maintain access; that costs $9.99 USD and will doubtless be replaced by the next iteration of it in due time. Just... not yet.

As for what Battle Pass M-2 will entail, the Pokemon will include Gengar, Skarmory, and Kangaskhan. They'll come with Mega Stones. (Hat tip to Insider Gaming for the catch.) Skarmory's Champions-introduced ability, Stalwart, will circumvent moves and abilities on the opponent's part which redirect the intended target. In other words, nothing'll stop...
