Resident Evil's Generation Pack Targeted By Scalpers Even Though It's Still Available

The Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive Resident Evil Generation Pack is, predictably, being sold by scalpers on resale sites for quite a bit more than its MSRP. The thing is, since retailers haven't sold out of the Generation Pack's physical copies, you can still buy it for its regular price.

Nintendo and Capcom were clear from the outset that RE's Generation Pack, which bundles Switch 2 versions of Resident Evil 7, Village, and Requiem, would be getting the Super Mario 3D All-Stars treatment. By that, I mean it would only be available for a limited time. I'm still not sure why Nintendo pulls this tactic from time to time, but as soon as the pack was revealed, it was confirmed that it would be delisted on March 31, 2026.

That did indeed happen. You can no longer buy Resi's Generation Pack through the Switch 2's eShop. However, the pack got a physical release and, unlike All-Stars, retailers were not forced to remove stock from the shop floor on delisting day. Both Amazon and Best Buy still have physical copies of the Generation Pack in stock, listed for its $89.99 MSRP.
