Currently there are currently two ways to play with Dark Urge in Baldur's Gate 3; you can either redeem him or give in to his bloodlust. If you choose to play as Tav or any of the origin characters, you'll only come across Durge's corpse in the Temple of Bhaal. Wouldn't it be interesting if you could have him as a companion?

Recruit the Dark Urge is being made by HyperspaceTowel, the same developer behind the massive cut content restoration mod for Baldur's Gate 3. It looks like they've used their file extracting skills and applied them in a way that allows Dark Urge to be recruitable if you play as Tav or any of the other companion characters.
