If you've played Pokemon Champions in the two days since its slightly wonky launch, you've almost certainly run into a team containing Incineroar. The game has already been dubbed by some as the "Incineroar and Sinistcha Simulator" due to the prevalence of the two Pokemon.
Now, the game's community has held its first major tournament, featuring a $500 prize pool, and, unsurprisingly, Incineroar dominated, at least in terms of how many times it was chosen.
Pokemon Champions' first major tournament featured over 500 six-Pokemon teams. The tournament's winner scooped a healthy $120, with second place getting $100, and prizes were dished out all the way to eighth place.
As one might expect, given the current state of the game, Incineroar was the most-picked Pokemon by a long shot, appearing on almost 54 percent of teams. Sneasler was second, appearing in 37 percent of teams, 17 percent less than Incineroar, and Sinistcha was third, appearing in 36 percent.
