It has been six years since Ubisoft India announced the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake, and only now is new footage beginning to surface.
As spotted by Prince of Persia Universe, game designer Chandra Kouns recently uploaded a GIF to his portfolio showing previously unseen footage from the project. While most of the snippets seen in the video were also featured in the 2020 announcement trailer, it also offers a better look at combat with the Prince fighting alongside Farah in the library, as well as the parkour, with the Prince wall jumping to retrieve the Dagger of Time.
Unfortunately, it's a low-res GIF running at a choppy framerate, so it's not a completely accurate or fair representation of what the final project would have looked like. Nonetheless, considering how little we saw of the original remake before Ubisoft Montreal took over, it's an interesting insight.
