HoYoverse has announced the release date for the new Honkai: Star Rail update, with Version 4.2 set to celebrate the turn-based RPG's anniversary with new characters and more later this month.
As you've probably guessed from the version numbering, this latest update will follow on from March's Version 4.1. The story will revolve around developments pertaining to the Phantasmoon Games, so get ready to resolve some big questions.
In terms of new characters, you can look forward to two new five-star fighters as part of this update. The first, Silver Wolf Lv.999, is described by HoYoverse as "the universe's most hardcore gamer". She's an Imaginary character on the Path of Elation, and her deal is shaking up combat with her Godmode Player state.
Your second new character is the 5-star Physical fighter Evanescia, who's also on the Path of Elation. She gains a stacking buff throughout combat that allows her to generate energy. Once it reaches a certain level, she'll gain access to a powerful new attack.
