Last September, Nintendo made every Fire Emblem fan jump with joy when it announced a new entry in the long-running franchise, Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive title that would launch at some point in 2026.
With a near-three-minute-long reveal trailer, Nintendo gave some early story clues, plus a first-look at gameplay before vanishing. Because ever since that September reveal, things have been radio silent on Nintendo's part, but some eagle-eyed fans believe that the wait could be over soon, thanks to a now-revealed PEGI rating.

Over on Nintendo's GB site, Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave has a PEGI 12 rating, noting that it has "Violence," "Bad Language," and "In-Game Purchases." Normally, that would be nothing to look into, but as Fire Emblem fans pointed out, that PEGI 12 rating wasn't always there.
Rather, as recently as April 7, the Nintendo eShop page for Fortune's Weave had a provisional PEGI rating in it. That rating was also PEGI 12, as Nintendo likely assumed that this is where things would land when the game passed...
