Pokemon Champions Players Are Hilariously Getting Caught Out By Hisuian Zoroark

Zoroark has been a menace since its release in Pokemon Black and White. Its Illusion ability means players have always had to second-guess what they are facing when it comes to battles, with it taking the form of another Pokemon in the opposition's party when it's sent out to battle. Hisuian Zoroark then took things up a notch, with its Ghost typing meaning it is immune to Normal- and Fighting-type moves.

It turns out that, despite the Ghost/Normal-type Pokemon having been around for more than four years, players are still not used to it, and it's catching them out in Pokemon Champions in hilarious ways.

Illusion + Ghost-typing is Hisuian Zoroark's secret weapon. It comes out disguised as a different Pokemon, and then is completely immune to Normal and Fighting-type moves, negating hits from Fake Out and speedsters dropping Aura Sphere. With Pokemon Champions releasing just a few days ago, and Hisuian Zoroark featuring on its roster, a whole new group of players are getting caught out, with hilarious results, many of which were spotted by spiralchel.
